Minot Area Chamber EDC (MACEDC) serves as the champion and voice for business by representing the best interests of our member investors at local, regional, and national levels. Our work is centered around five strategic pillars, all of which support MACEDC’s vision to be the go-to organization for our business community to drive key initiatives that build and strengthen our economy.
-
Economic Development: In partnership with the Economic Development Association of North Dakota, MACEDC leads development of policy positions that support growth and diversification of North Dakota’s economy.
-
Community Development: We are stronger and better together. Partnership is the core of what we do, working together to strengthen our community. MACEDC leads community discussions and legislative roundtables to understand partner priorities in order to speak with one voice for the Minot area and best support our community partners.
-
Workforce Development: MACEDC supports initiatives that attract and retain talent, streamline professional licensure processes, and address critical challenges such as childcare and housing. Collaboration between the private sector and educational institutions to meet workforce demands is a priority, while advocating for innovative solutions and resources to support this work.
-
Member Investors: In partnership with the Greater North Dakota Chamber, MACEDC works to promote the best business climate possible.
-
