ND Talent Attraction & Retention Program

Who: North Dakota Department of Commerce in partnership with RoleCall, a national talent attraction agency.

What: A campaign to attract and retain talent in the state of North Dakota through marketing, lead-capture systems, and personalized assistance.

Where: This is a complimentary state-wide program that is available to all employers and economic developers.

When: This is a two-year program that kicked off with a state-wide tour in November. Marketing and lead capture will begin in May or June.

Why: The Department of Commerce estimates that there are over 35,000 open jobs in North Dakota at any given time. We need to attract new and former North Dakotans from across the country to fill them so the state can grow in a smart, sustainable way.

How: Commerce and RoleCall are in the process of meeting with employers and economic developers across the state to learn the unique needs and challenges that exist. The goal is to build new relationships, inform stakeholders, spark collaboration, and leverage existing success as we work together to target and recruit new talent.
