Minot Area Chamber EDC (MACEDC)’s Women Connect team invites the greater Minot community to their fall signature event, Never Give Up – The Survivor Way, featuring nationally recognized motivational speaker, author, and Survivor: Nicaragua finalist Holly Hoffman. This exciting opportunity to learn more and network is made possible through the support of our presenting sponsor Hess Corporation.
Hoffman was the last remaining member of the Espada Tribe and the last woman standing on Season 21 of CBS’s hit reality show Survivor: Nicaragua. Drawing from her experience on the island and throughout her life, she shares a powerful message of survival, resilience, and strength.
Through her keynote, Holly will introduce six simple but powerful words to think about; faith, attitude, determination, confidence, desire, and perseverance to allow individuals to overcome obstacles and develop true survival skills. Skills she’s going to challenge attendees to critically think about, harness and grow. Her inspirational storytelling encourages audiences to step beyond their comfort zones and uncover their inner strength.
A native of South Dakota, Holly Hoffman is a Certified Speaking Professional and the author of Your Winner Within, Write Yourself a Note, and Three Step Stride. She has traveled across the country and internationally, speaking to corporations, associations, universities, schools, and women’s organizations. Through her work, Holly inspires audiences to face challenges, focus their energy, and ignite the fire of successful living within themselves.
“Holly’s story is a reminder that survival means growing stronger, discovering who you are, and refusing to give up.” shared Rianne Kuhn, Committee Chair. “Her message is powerful, relatable, and something we all need to hear. I invite you to join us for our signature event in October! I know you will walk away inspired, encouraged, and ready to face your own challenges with a new outlook.”
Mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Minot State University’s Ann Nicole Nelson Hall. Following the keynote, there will be a networking opportunity. Early bird ticket prices are $30 for MACEDC Member Investors, $40 for Non-members, and $20 for Active-Duty Military Members, with prices increasing after October 1. Attendees are encouraged to register early to take advantage of the discount.
All Women Connect events are open to everyone, not just women, making this an excellent opportunity to bring friends, coworkers, or family for an uplifting afternoon of growth and connection. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well for those looking to bring a team to the event. Space is limited, so hurry and get registered by
