Operation Homebound Fundraiser Raises Over $31,000 to Support Minot Airmen Traveling Home for the Holidays

The Minot Area Chamber EDC (MACEDC) is proud to announce that the December 4 Operation Homebound fundraiser raised $31,235 to help Minot Air Force Base Airmen travel home for the holidays. The communitywide effort, supported by locally operated Jersey Mike’s and Qdoba, marks one of the most successful Operation Homebound fundraisers to date.
Throughout the one-day event, hundreds of community members came out to show their support by dining, donating, and spreading the word, demonstrating once again Minot’s deep commitment to the Airmen who serve and protect our nation.
“Operation Homebound is special because it represents what Minot does best - taking care of those who take care of us,” said Ryan Ackerman, MACEDC Board Chair. “Our community showed up in a big way, and these dollars will directly help first-term Airmen reunite with their families during the holiday season. The continued growth of Operation Homebound is a testament to what can be achieved when local businesses and community members come together for a meaningful cause.”
MACEDC extends heartfelt appreciation to Jersey Mike’s, Qdoba, and the many individuals and families who contributed to this year’s success. Their generosity continues to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of Minot’s Airmen and their families. Additional donations are still being received through Venmo and individual contributions, further growing the support available for Airmen this holiday season.
Direct donations can be made through the MACEDC office or via Venmo at @MinotAreaChamberEDC. For more information on how you or your business can support Operation Homebound, please contact the Minot Area Chamber EDC at 701-852-6000 or email keli@minotchamberedc.com
