The mission to educate and advocate for Minot and Minot Air Force Base is heading back to the nation’s capital this fall for the 14th Annual Task Force 21 Nuclear Triad Symposium. Set for September 26, 2025, the event will host senior defense leaders, policymakers, and national security experts to discuss the state and future of America’s nuclear triad and the role Minot plays in global defense.
Among this year’s distinguished speakers is Gen. Thomas A. Bussiere, Commander, Air Force Global Strike Command and Commander, Air Forces Strategic – Air, U.S. Strategic Command at Barksdale Air Force Base. Additional invited speakers include Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink and Lt. Gen. Andrew Gebara, Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration, U.S. Air Force, along with members of North Dakota’s congressional delegation.
“Minot has a unique role in sustaining the strength of our nuclear deterrent,” said Brekka Kramer, President & CEO of the Minot Area Chamber EDC. “This symposium provides a critical opportunity to elevate the voices of defense leaders and ensure that Minot remains at the center of America’s national security dialogue.”
“The conversations that take place here directly shape the future of our nation’s defense,” said Pete Hankla, Chair of Task Force 21. “We are committed to providing a platform that strengthens the ties between our military, policymakers, and communities.”
The symposium will be held at the Army & Navy Club in Washington, D.C. The event is free to attend, but advance registration is required, as space is limited.
