Minot Area Chamber EDC hosting series of candidate forums before November 8 election

The Minot Area Chamber EDC Governmental Affairs Committee is partnering with the City of Minot to host two candidate forums to help educate the public on the candidates running for Minot City Council and Ward County Commission. The forums will take place October 26 & 27 at Minot City Hall with the option of attending in person or online. The city is partnering with the Chamber EDC to allow us to utilize council chambers for these forums. The forums will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. each night and questions can be submitted to our moderator any time until then by emailing Carla at carla@minotchamberedc.com. Minot City Council candidates will be first, followed by Ward County Commission candidates. We encourage you to tune in to learn about those hoping to represent you.

Minot City Council Candidates - Scott Burlingame & Roscoe Streyle (one seat)
Wednesday, October 26 | 6 p.m.

Ward County Commissioners – John Fjeldahl (I), Lance Makeeff, Jason Olson, and Alan Walter (two seats)
Thursday, October 27 | 6 p.m.

Early voting will take place October 31st through November 4th & 7th from 10am-6pm at the Ward County Administration Building at 225 3rd St SE.
