Mark Lyman joins Minot Area Chamber EDC as Economic Development Specialist
The Minot Area Chamber Economic Development Corporation (EDC) welcomes Mark Lyman as an Economic Development Specialist. Lyman brings nearly 20 years of community marketing, public relations, communications, and leadership experience to the role.
 
In the new role as Economic Development Specialist, Lyman will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of economic development programs while strategically supporting the Minot Area Chamber EDC’s mission of business attraction, retention, expansion and advocacy.
 
"I am proud to bring my many years of community experience, ability and insight into this new position for regional economic development,” said Lyman. “I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Minot Area Chamber Economic Development Corporation and am looking forward to working hand-in-hand with community partners and leaders to retain businesses, help our area expand and attract new companies and employees to the Minot area."

John MacMartin, President of the Minot Area Chamber EDC. “With Mark in this role we expect to strengthen our focus on business retention and expansion, new business attraction, and continuing our advocacy, communication and outreach.”

The Minot Area Chamber Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is a nonprofit organization formed with the Minot Area Chamber of Commerce and the Minot Area Development Corporation (MADC) merged into one organization on January 1, 2021.
 
The organization exists to promote business, leadership, and growth for the Minot area while facilitating business attraction, expansion, retention, and advocacy to diversify and strengthen the Minot area.
