MacMartin Honored

During his State of the City address, Mayor Sipma recognized Minot Area Chamber EDC President John MacMartin for his 30 years of service to Minot. MacMartin has announced his plans to retire in August 2022. “Through his leadership role with the Minot Area Chamber EDC, John MacMartin has been an ardent supporter of Minot. He’s been especially active in fostering a strong community relationship with Minot Air Force Base and with base retention efforts as part of Task Force 21. He’s worked to attract new businesses to our community. He’s been a familiar face and voice at the North Dakota Legislature testifying on behalf of Minot and our efforts to build a more resilient community.”

Mayor Sipma continued, "Your dedication to Minot has been on display for decades. Congratulations on your retirement. We wish you nothing but the best."
