Junior Achievement Receives Minot Community Endowment Fund Grant
The Minot Community Endowment Fund recently awarded a total of $66,497 to 15 local nonprofit organizations. Minot Area Chamber EDC was awarded a grant for the Junior Achievement program, an educational program delivered by corporate and community volunteers that provides relevant, hands-on experiences that give
students from kindergarten through 5th grade knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Other grant recipients include: Minot Area Homeless Coalition, Operation Homefront, Inc., Companions for Children, Mouse River Player Community Theater, Minot Rotary Club, Minot Commission on Aging, Project BEE, Minot Rural Fire Protection District, Magic City Blessing Bank, Minot Social Club for Exceptional Persons, The
Welcome Table, Northern Plains Children’s Advocacy Center, Gymagic Gymnastics, and 1,000 Trees for Minot.

The Minot Community Endowment Fund was established in 1981 by a grant from the Otto Bremer Trust and is a permanent part of the North Dakota Community Foundation, which provides professional management of the fund.
