Eating out with dietary restrictions can be a stressful experience, but Aaron did an amazing job helping his nominator and their friend feel comfortable and find the perfect meal option to fit their needs. He went above and beyond working with them to alter a specific meal to make it diet friendly for the meal plan that they were following. Florence’s nominator noted that she’s always in the self-check out area at Target and consistently goes out of her way to make sure each customer’s purchase goes as smoothly as possible. “I was struggling with my ‘circle’ app, and she was so patient and helpful in getting me through my transaction. She has a way of making you feel special – regardless of all my questions! I’ve noticed she treats all customers with the same gracious, willing spirit. She never stands around; she is always busy with helping customers, and also keeping the area neat and clean. It’s always a pleasant shopping experience at Target and she is one of the main reasons I continue to shop there. Dedicated, hardworking, committed, loyal employees like Flo are hard to find these days.”

Tina’s nominator raved about her photography skills, cheerful personality, and great customer service for each and every person that visits the Scandinavian Heritage Park and Visitors Center. “Tina is patient and helpful as she lines up folks to take momentous photos. She’s also helpful assisting guests choose just the right souvenirs and gifts before going on their way. She’s a valuable employee promoting the Minot community.”

When Stacy’s nominator and their family moved to the Minot area in 2018, finding the right healthcare provider to fit their needs was a challenge. After suddenly falling seriously ill, Stacy was recommended and her nominator expressed gratitude that Stacy “has gone far beyond the call of duty to diagnose my condition, connect me with specialists, and play a pivotal role in securing my disability approval. She worked tirelessly, often through the night, recognizing the life-and-death urgency that others had overlooked. Stacy’s dedication extends beyond regular hours, offering her time and expertise even when there was no financial gain, always giving 100% effort. Today, she cares for nine of my family members in Minot, providing exceptional service to each. I understand my condition isn’t curable, thanks to her care I will live a happy and healthy life for many years to come. At her office, patients are warmly welcomed by a small, home-style staff and a golden retriever named Harper, reflecting Stacy’s personal warmth and professionalism. Her practice mirrors her gem-like presence in Minot’s medical community.”

Tessa was off the clock and on her way home when she spotted a client out walking during a particularly hot day. Even though she had children to pick up from daycare and was already running late, Tessa knew she couldn’t just leave them out in such awful weather. She took the time out of her busy schedule to stop and check on the client, get them out of the heat, and give them a ride home to make sure they made it safely. Nice work, Tessa!

When they needed to change their address with the bank and get documents to get a change on their driver’s license, Anne’s nominator worked with her to get the job done. She was able to help get everything accomplished for each request and had a wonderful attitude the whole time. “She is always polite and brings a smile to my face when I go into the bank.” Great job, Anne!

Jared’s nominator stopped in with their 85-year-old mother to shop for a mattress and both of them were blown away by Jared’s overall attitude and care for his customers. “Jared was so professional & respectful and worked very hard to find a mattress in my mom’s price range that she would be happy with. He was so patient and answered all her questions, of which she always has MANY! His customer service skills were excellent!”

During multiple interactions with Trae, his nominator has always been impressed by his service and support, noting how patient, understandable, and approachable he is. “He consistently has a friendly smile on his face, making every visit or conversation pleasant. Trae’s extensive knowledge and willingness to help have made a positive difference in my experience. His professionalism and genuine care truly stand out.”

When Terryl’s nominator was facing the daunting task of filing a claim for their car after a run-in with a pheasant, they weren’t exactly sure where to begin. “Terryl took me under her wing and helped me do all the necessary things I needed to do to file the claim correctly – even going out to my car and taking pictures of the damage with her own phone. She could tell I was getting discouraged, and she just helped me along doing all the things it took to get the claim filed successfully! I could never have gotten the job done without her help and I am forever grateful! Thank you, Terryl, for all your help! American Family is lucky to have you as a member of their team!”

Jeannie’s nominator has gotten to know her as she often comes to their place of employment to buy phones for her clients. One day, another customer overheard her chatting with her nominator and asked more about her job. “She talked openly about working with those just getting out of jail, homeless, and/or struggling with addiction. This guy shared he was stranded here from out of town and desperately needed help. She jumped right into action calling other community resources and was able to get him a bus ticket home. She gave him her number and asked him to come to the office when he left so they could talk more and get him his ticket. It was such an amazing interaction to watch, and she didn’t hesitate to help a stranger. The world needs more of her.”

Dr. Wilson’s nominator was impressed by his service and care for his patients. “From the consultation in the ER to rounds on the floor, he carried a smile and great wealth of knowledge.” They praised his kind and compassionate attitude that “put their mind at instant ease” and were incredibly grateful to have him as a doctor.

“After many years of cable tv, our condo’s contract was terminated, and we were forced to use a streaming service. Scott was one of many SRT employees that installed the service for many senior citizens. He was patient, courteous, and made the transition user friendly. He returned if there was a problem.”

After a knee replacement, Aundrea was her nominator’s primary therapist, making the process one that her patient could be proud of while offering amazing service along the way. Not only did Aundrea adjust her schedule multiple times so that she could be available to monitor her nominator’s progress, but in over 30 visits and after around three months, they were able to get their “range of motion and knee to meet the standards to feel better about themselves, “ all while not missing a beat caring for her other patients. Awesome work, Aundrea!

Katie’s “exceptional talent and genuine warmth” stood out to her nominator, and they were incredibly impressed by her overall performance and customer service. Not only did they rave about her “ability to transform your hair,” but they also emphasized that she transforms the emotions of her customers by brightening their entire day. Even though her nominator was going to miss her as she’s moving on to bigger things, they wanted her to know that she’ll do amazing things in whatever she chooses. Throughout multiple visits, Tammy’s nominator has seen her go above and beyond in various ways to listen to her customers and help them out. They specifically noted how she takes the initiative to open the doors for elderly customers as they leave with their food, and that she is always willing to listen to anyone in need of a kind ear. “She gives excellent customer service, and we love going back to this store almost 3 times a week.”

"Jayda had a special bond with my mother. She is such a kind person and treats her patients like they are her family. One day for example, she stopped by after she was done working at the other Edgewood facility in Minot just to see my mom when I was there and check in on her. She was very much appreciated.”

Allison’s nominator was in a bind, as they needed an insurance plan on the marketplace by the next day, and were hopeful that she could help them out. Allison was on the case and researched several avenues to finalize everything that was necessary, even getting the plan processed before end of day. “She was patient, professional, and knowledgeable. Allison calmed my worries as she provided wonderful direction, and my plan was in place that afternoon. She calmed my worries!”

Kyle’s nominator had gone through their second hip surgery as a college student and was having a rough time when they started to see Kyle for physical therapy. Not only did Kyle go above and beyond with working on the exercises to best suit the injury, but he also helped his patient work through the mental pain it evoked. “He never makes me feel stupid for my feelings and has been easy to talk to since the start. He has made me a part of this recovery. He keeps me informed on everything, tells me why things are happening the way they are, and talks me through things. I also appreciate the way Kyle works with my chronic health condition. Kyle has made a huge impact on my recovery and is a tremendous therapist.”
