“Cassidy showed up at my Mom’s house for service on her tv. He not only got the tv working again, he helped take out all the old equipment she wasn’t using, discovered a piece of equipment she was paying a monthly charge on that was not in use, and made sure everything was working properly. Cassidy was prompt, friendly and efficient and you can tell he really cares about his customers.”

Officer Carter was one of the first officers on the scene of an accident, and his nominator said he quickly assessed the scene and made sure his nominator’s spouse was okay before they could get to her. “He was very informative with the process and showed compassion during a stressful event. He checked on her again in the ER and answered any questions we had about the accident and what the next steps were.”
Devyn was at the right place at the right time when her nominator had a medical emergency at a local park. Devyn, being in the medical field, immediately assessed the situation, stayed calm, took charge, and called 911. “She remained by my side till the ambulance arrived. She demonstrated courage, leadership, and selflessness all while balancing the well-being of her two small children that were with her and caring for me during a critical medical emergency.” Her heroic actions deserve an Eagle Award!
“Mrs. Nelson was my son’s 2nd grade teacher. My son needs some extra patience at times. Her classroom is such a calm environment that he thrived with her as a teacher. She helped him become a better student and he found joy in going to school every day. She clearly lover her job and cares about each of her students.”
Deb is the heart and soul of Des Lacs Burlington Elementary. She knows each and every child in the school by name and truly cares for them. Her nominator is relatively new to the school and is extremely impressed with her knowledge, professionalism, and friendly attitude. “Thank you for making DLB Elementary a little more like home for our children.”
Anita’s nominator mistakenly used their personal debit card instead of a work debit card when purchasing a work laptop. They returned to Best Buy and explained the situation to Anita, hoping there might be a way to correct the mistake. Anita began working through the process of switching the payment method. She ran into some challenges that required more time, even past the time she was supposed to be at work but worked hard to resolve the problem. “Her dedication, patience, and positive attitude turned what could have been a stressful experience into a manageable one, and I’m grateful for her outstanding customer service.”
Brenda’s nominator is a family member of a resident at Edgewood Minot. They said Brenda was instrumental in supporting their loved one moving out of her home. “She was patient, kind and provided exemplary customer service. From their first meeting to the actual move, she was very attentive. Brenda checked in on our loved one, giving us all comfort that she wasn’t forgotten about. Thank you for the compassion.”
“Annie has been assisting my 95-year-old mom since February. She is the sweetest person and my mom looks forward to her visits. My mom has dementia, and Annie has the most patience with her. She treats mom as a relative instead of a job. I could go on and on about all the ways Annie makes mom feel seen, loved and cared for when we can’t be there.”
Dr. Pearson’s nominator has been a patient of his for almost as long as he has had a practice in Minot. “Through the years Dr. Pearson has helped improve my quality of life, positively affecting both my personal and professional life. He has helped me through a very debilitating and somewhat challenging issue. Providing not only treatment, but compassion and education in order to improve my wellbeing.” They continued, “he took the time to not only understand the issues at hand, but to understand me as a person.”
Todd is the guy to call if you need anything fixed, according to his nominator. With the ability to fix things that others can’t, they were absolutely blown away by his knowledge. Not only does he work in a timely manner, but he offers a friendly attitude and is truly a gem.
Sira’s nominator said she is absolutely amazing every time they go into Try Thai’s restaurant. “One thing that sticks out, is she will see us parking and will actually start making our appetizer before we even walk into the restaurant, so as soon as we order our food it is out within 10 seconds. Sira and the AMAZING food are the reasons we keep coming back!”
“I had to go in for an MRI. I am not able to walk on my own, so it is a little hard to get loaded into the machine. Terri helped me, making sure that I was comfortable and warm throughout the entire process. She definitely went above and beyond, and you can tell that she does this for everyone, she was absolutely fantastic!”
Kevin’s nominator was involved in a car accident, and he was part of the ambulance crew who responded. “Kevin was very calm and attentive. He was very quick to respond and assess my injuries. On the ride to ER he kept everything lighthearted and eased my anxiety. I was very thankful for him!”
Jaime’s nominator has used his services for many years and said that Jaime has gone above and beyond helping them with different projects when they were going through some rough times personally. From prepping a new lot for a house move, doing all the paperwork, helping their daughter with some severe damage to the ceilings in her house, and now doing a garage addition for them, all the while putting in a lot of time and effort. “He is a very good contractor that values his work and his clients!”
