February Eagle Award Winners

This February, we’re thrilled to recognize the soaring achievements of our Eagle Award winners! Their determination, grit, and willingness to go above and beyond have made a lasting impression.  

This month's winners are: Dr. Brian Tin-Maung – Trinity Health, Tyler Burt – Green Brothers Landscaping & Construction, Dr. Thomas Nordquist – Trinity Health, Joshua Seaburg – Ideal Auto, Dr. Alex Ness – Ness Family Dentistry, Joshua Garozzo – Schatz Crossroads, Cassie Loard – Aflac, Dr. Matthew Khouri – Trinity Health, and Peter Meindl – Menards

Dr. Alex Ness – Ness Family Dentistry When his nominator broke a tooth on a Friday after the office had closed, they were faced with a stressful situation, and called to leave Dr. Ness a message. On his day off, Dr. Ness reached out to the patient to reassure them, and after getting details on the incident informed them that it would be alright to wait until Monday. “As promised, he got me in first thing on Monday morning. Dr. Ness is not only professional and polite, but punctual and reliable. My tooth is as good as new.”
Dr. Alex Ness – Ness Family Dentistry

Joshua Seaburg – Ideal Auto After purchasing a vehicle from Joshua, his nominators were faced with a dilemma the next day as the car refused to start. After letting Joshua know about the situation, he was determined to solve the problem, first by having them bring the car back in, and then by arranging to have it examined so they could get to the bottom of it. When it turned out to be an issue with the battery, Joshua made sure that it was promptly fixed. “Considering we bought the vehicle used as-is, it was above and beyond of him. Ideal Auto has always been a great place because of employees like him.”

Cassie Loard – Aflac Hospital visits and ambulance rides are already difficult enough, and having high bills can add even more anxiety to an already stressful situation. After receiving a large medical bill, Cassie’s nominator reached out to see how Aflac could help. Not only did Cassie do an exceptional job at her day-to-day benefit counseling, she offered amazing customer service throughout the entire process, making the interaction pleasant and even enjoyable. Her nominator raved about her “extremely nice/polite demeanor, her timely responses, her positive outlook, and her just being extremely good at her job.” Great work, Cassie!
Cassie Loard – Aflac

Dr. Brian Tin-Maung – Trinity Health “Dr. Tin-Maung showed excellence in character and compassion when he came in on his day off to provide anesthesia services to the Labor and Delivery patients. His coworker who was supposed to be providing L&D services was unavailable and we reached out to him for help. Not only did he offer to come in and help out, he did so with a gracious attitude and kindness to the patients. This was appreciated by all of the staff who were working with and by the patients. This was especially impressive considering this was on Christmas Eve and he wasn’t supposed to be working!”

Joshua’s nominator was absolutely blown away by his amazing customer service, especially his friendly demeanor and promptness when taking orders. “He makes a point to show concern to customers and others. When he asks (how are you) he really wants to know how your day is and he attempts to make the visit a good experience.” Not only were they impressed by how happy and joyful his personality is, but how each time they visit he always has a kind and helpful attitude to customers as well as other staff members.
Peter Meindl – Menards After purchasing 15 forty-pound bags of product from Menards, Peter’s nominator was faced with the task of getting everything out of the store and loaded into their vehicle. They were grateful to have the assistance of a store associate, and were impressed by Peter’s work ethic and attitude. “Peter met us with a big smile and cheerful ‘Good Morning’ greeting. As he loaded the bags on the cart, he asked about our holiday plans and maintained a very nice light conversation. It was a cold, windy day, yet his demeanor didn’t change when loading the heavy load for us. Peter’s cheerful, helpful personality is one that Menards can be proud to employ.”

It was a heavy North Dakota snowfall, and in classic midwestern fashion, required a lot of snow removal. Tyler’s nominator was trying to decide the best path with the least amount of snow as they were leaving work, and even though they were sure Tyler and his team had been shoveling snow all day, he still went out of his way to say “Let me get that for you” and shovel a big pile of snow out of their walking path into an area that wasn’t so deep. “He certainly went above and beyond for me and made my day! He was so friendly and made it sound like no big deal. I am sure he was very tired from a long day and went above and beyond. I appreciated it. Thank you!!”
