Congratulations Minot Public School District

In December, voters in the Minot Public School District overwhelmingly approved the Minot Public School Realignment Project bond referendum that included remodeling and adding school facilities to create a third middle school and two 9-12 grade high schools in Minot. A second question that included a pool and athletic complex.

Voters approved the first question with 84% of the vote, which addressed the school facility needs. The second question on the ballot passed with 78% of the vote, which addressed the pool and athletic complex. A third question, which passed with 77% of the vote, approved raising the debt ceiling to allow the district’s debt to be at 10% of its assessed property value. Minot Area Chamber EDC is proud to be on record supporting this important project for our community. Thank you all who supported the realignment project.
